Park was a disaster going forward. He played like a LWB at times and did a good job doubling up on Nasri as Evra was tucking in a bit to stop him cutting inside. That worked very well for us but I wanted to see more from him going forward.

I think Utd's main problem tonight was the tactics. We played long balls too many times up to Rooney and to Nani and nothing was sticking which was the main reason we built very few good attacks. I think we could have afforded to lose Carrick and bring on Berbatov. He'd have slowed things down for us in attack because alot of the time Rooney had the ball out wide he was passing it forward to the likes of Anderson/Park through the center and we had no real forward to hurt arsenal in thos areas like we needed to.
spot on :thumb: the long balls to nani and rooney got worse in 2nd half and a lot of the times were wayward punts.

Park was execellent though... broke up the play very well and pretty much neutralized sagna...
I hate to say it, but I have to agree, he battled brilliantly today and won the ball back continuously. Trouble is when he finally comes away with the ball he ends up heading straight for a cluster of oppo players which is frustrating.
yeah he does that... still he played well and scored the winner (granted it was a bit lucky)... he plays very well in big games and is a great squad player to have I think

Was surprised by United and the long balls, Rooney looked sharp at times but he was generally dealt with pretty well. I think Berbiedoll would have come on if Park hadn't scored.

Yeh agree with that, he's useless against the rest tho. Don't know if you saw SS but Andy Gray thought it's one of the best headers ever, forking donut

Yeah, Song was dreadful, with his picky head <_<

A lot of poor individual performances. Nasri was the trier as always. Arshavin tried and he was crap. Walcott always tries when he comes on. We have to move on anyway, we're in a decent position and we've got OT out the way.

Jog on.

Good win for United and edged it in almost every department i think.

Cesc mate we all hate losing and i'm no different but you are going to new levels, chill for a while, its just one game and the league is still very much up for grabs. B)
Will be keeping Cech in my pocket for the next 3 months. Thanks Pedro :thumb:
