FAI stuck for cash, Ireland qualify for Euro's, what meaningless friendly could the moronic Irish footballing public pay €120 a ticket for....a chance to see lionel messi up close, maybe ronaldo, maybe xavi/iniesta...no chance. We want James Milner and Gareth Barry
And yet Barry and Milner would walk into your side

I totally understand you not wanting to see England play when you've had a lifetime of englishmen running round in green shirts anyway

Whelan and Andrews are better than those over rated pieces of shite :ph43r:

Although if we actually played our good midfielders, we would be a lot better

Its pure myth that they are overrated. They were both excellent at Villa and are now playing and competing with top class players at City. Barry took a while to settle but has been excellent this season. Milner was average last season but has played 11 or 12 times this season and has been outstanding.
They are head and shoulders above anything Ireland have imo. Only Duff comes close B)

Anyway, on topic... I dont think this would be a good game if it does go ahead, England cant break organised teams down and Ireland dont score many goals against decent sides. I'd put money on a 0-0 bore draw and i probably wouldn't even bother to watch the second half.
