Some wonderful build up play from us in this game. Opened up Sunderland enough times just haven't been able to finish them off.

It's safe to say whatever ability Carrick offered us has gradually gone down to absolute nothingness. He really is finished at United and needs to be sold.

FT 2-0

Good overall performance which was pleasing on the eye to watch. The one touch passing and movement off the ball was very good at time. Sunderland I thought played well at times - last 15 mins of 1st half and first 15mins of 2nd half. They were always in it at 1-0 despite the number of chances we created.

Carrick was useless again. His confidence is shot to bits, doesn't even have the bottle to make tackles anymore and the oppo just play triangles around him at will. It's embarrassing and needs to leave for his own sake. Evra was also not at his best and needs to get his head straight imo. Anderson and the experience of Giggs shone through and were the creators of most things

Level on games and 5 points clear, lovely jubbly :D

Anymore? Never did, don't see them as title challengers.
