Disagree Sic, I thought against Spurs was our first decent game of the season.

Really don't understand what Yidarmy is getting upset about, we played well and fans are simply highlighting those players that have played well in a string of games recently. Really don't see how that amounts to arrogance but sounds a tad bitter imo. After all, how many were out for Aston Villa yesterday but nobody would begrudge Spurs on their performance. Pathetic that Utd fans have to get slated just for enjoying a little bit of success, and why - just bcos we're Utd fans and if we do then we must be arrogant?

Who's upset? I saying that you should have done what you did to sunderland, considering the team they put out and it was at Old Trafford. Some of your fans have gone OTT on the basis of 1 performance I think, but I totlally agree that if this a signof things to come then Chelsea can kiss goodbye to the title.

I have no problem admitting that Man Utd are a better team than us, but it took our keeper to have a on pitch lobotomy before the game was won no matter how well you played.

I'm happy with our overall position at the moment because I don't have any grand ideas. Being a Spurs supporter does that to you.

We're posting on a matchday thread, what do you expect? And can you quote someone who's said something which is OTT on here? As for saying it's based on 1 game, go and check out the other United matchday threads and you'll see this has been a trend recently. Before that, you'll see us being critical of the performances despite the fortunate results.

Who was saying anything about your position? I said that, that was a second string Villa side out yesterday but imo that took nothing away from Spurs performance yesterday. Does that mean spurs fans were being arrogant yesterday when they went 2-0 up? No ofcourse not. That's the bit that annoys me, Utd fans can't get excited like others bcos if we do we must be hated for being arrogant.

Dismissing City so flippantly could be described as arrogant. Describing the perfromance yersterday as 'awesome' is OTT. Calling me bitter is sad.

I haven't read the Arsenal thread, but my general veiw of the performance that it was poor but workmanlike. Before that was Blackburn, fair enough a hammering, Wigan can't remember being a stand out and Villa was coming back from 2-0 down. I would guess from all that thet the performances haven't been great. Sunderland was good, but it should have been as well. No one on here has stated about who you exactly played which was a weakened Sunderland at home. I would expect a 2-0 would be the minimum from this game?

I'm so sorry for bringing my team into the equation, it wont happen again on a Man Utd matchday thread.

This tells me you're missing the point. People aren't raving about the score, we're happy with the performance of the team. Finishing off our chances was the only thing we were poor at yesterday.

I didn't expect a good performance going by the way we have been performing this season we have been inconsistent and poor by our high standards the last three games we have looked a bit better and we are looking promising going into the new year

No just nevers suprises me how defensive the 'big 4' supporters get when you dare to give a bit of critcism. United were very good yesterday but they did play Sunderland.

Surely that's arrogance right there? Who else should we 'expect' to play well against? Everyone except maybe 5 teams?
