A Sunderland team minus 6 players at home. I would expect a good performance against that is not complete arrogance but a little common sense. |

What does City have to do with our performance against Sunderland? You're having a mare mate. And you didn't bring up your team, I did ffs and pointed out that Villa had a weakened team, but it took nothing away from your performance. Third time I'm mentioning it and still no valid response. Were your fans at Villa Park arrogant yesterday when you went 2-0 up? Why should United fans be classed as arrogant when your fans do exactly the same thing under similar circumstances. The only difference was that they were doing it in the stands and we were doing it on a forum. It was a matchday thread ffs, get a grip mate. |

You'd also expect a good performance at home against a newly promoted West Brom? Bolton? Fulham? We've had very few good performances this year, even when we're 'expected' to blow teams out of the water, so when one comes along excuse us for being happy with it. And if a united fan posted that we should be expecting to beat such and such you'd come ouch calling us arrogant, not agreeing with us and saying yea you're right. |

That would even things up a little I think. |

Not sure how many of those 3 you mention have been at home. Playing them away is a completely different kettle of fish. I don't think coming out and stating that you expect to beat a severly weakened Sunderland team as arrogant. |

No sorry I mean United playing well against Arsenal. It was said before that you wouldn't have such a performance against them |

I repeat - what does that have to do with our performance against Sunderland? Yoink! :sigh: Yes it does, but even then they were a pretty poor outfit until Petrov came on. Either way I'm not arguing that it wasn't a good performance by Spurs, just simply pointing out your double standards re your teams fans and our fans. |

I suggest Yidarmy and Cesc11 refrain from coming on United matchday threads in case we post something that on the off chance upsets them. |

The City effect was in reference to the arrogance label, which was in this thread a comment posted by you and is valid. No one called our performance 'awesome', we were pleased with getting a good result in a tough situation. I dont think it is the same scenario for you guys against Sunderland. |

Far from upset, just pointing a few things out which have the terrible thing of not agreeing with you. |
