Hey yidarmy you try having good performances leading the top of the table all scenarios are different and it's hard to say which is harder
I's swap in an instant no worries about that.

But if we beat Sunderland 2-0 at home when they have 6 players out I wouldn't be gushing about it as well :p

with the way united have been playing recently, why is it such a crime that we are happy the way we played yesterday? to us its a big deal because we have been weak in so many areas and we finally manage to show a creative spark and flare. of course we're gonna be happy with the way things look at the moment. we're slowly picking ourselves up and attempting to get back to being a top side and all of a sudden this makes us arrogant? correct me if i'm wrong but none of our fans have come on here and slated other players or teams or gona on about how we're the best team in the world with the best players in the world, we're just genuinely happy with the way we played and uniteds current position. top of the table 2 points clear of the 2nd place team with 2 games in hand, not to mention 5 points clear of last years champions and we're a little happy about it, someone call the FBI, a crime as been committed.

Oh yes you would if the majority of your games this season was dire. How can you not see it was a relief for us united supporters to finally see a decent performance we've been starved for a while lol

I agree with what you've said. But I am just putting it into context with the opponents you were against.

I repeat - what does that have to do with our performance against Sunderland? Yoink! :sigh:

Yes it does, but even then they were a pretty poor outfit until Petrov came on. Either way I'm not arguing that it wasn't a good performance by Spurs, just simply pointing out your double standards re your teams fans and our fans.
The City effect was in reference to the arrogance label, which was in this thread a comment posted by you and is valid.

No one called our performance 'awesome', we were pleased with getting a good result in a tough situation. I dont think it is the same scenario for you guys against Sunderland.
Nonsense, the arrogance you've been going on about is bcos we were "crowing at our performance against Sunderland". The City comment was nothing to do with it and you're clutching at straws. What comments about the match were OTT?

Btw the City comment has nothing to do with arrogance, they're our local rivals ffs and unless they're 10 point clear of us at the top I'm gonna be hard pressed to acknowledge them in any way. I accept that as bias, but so are all fans when it comes to local rivals. fork Citeh!

LOL, your fans at Villa Park went mental AFTER you scored and went mental again when you went 2-0 up. That is no different to Utd fans getting excited on a forum during their match.

Feel free to continue with your views on this but we're no different to any other fans.

your original comment was fair enough, that wasnt really what i was referring to. more about your attack of our fans because we were happy with the way we played and "guess why every other team hates you? Because of your percieved arrogance". i'm sure you are happy with how spurs did yesterday yourself, managing 3 points playing more of a game with 10 men, in the same way we are pleased with our performance. bit unnecessary imo

NO the arrogance was directly because of your dismissive nature about Man City. If you read my posts describing that performance as 'awesome' is OTT i think.

Celebrating a goal and victory is now arrogant? I dont think so myself. There may be some of those straws about you were referringto earlier after that point :p

I've agreed that your performance yesterday was very good. I've also stated who and what you played to try and put it into some crude context. I may have been a bit personal with the tone of those posts and for that didn't mean to cause offence.

Also, Man United fans are percieved as the most arrogant whether you like it or not. They are hated more than another other team whether you like it or not. Apart from any teams local rival, United will be most teams second most hated rival. As a general veiw you are seen in a different light to other fans because of your success. It may well all be down to jealosy, bt it's all true as well.
