Because our team aint all that Treb we are as good or as bad as the rest of the division
Is it as simple as that? I can accept we get outplayed cos we're poor but I'd be interested to know how many other teams have continually thrown away points after leading away from home
All teams in the league have their issues at the min Chelsea are going through their problems, so are Liverpool and the rest of the league tbf. Its much tighter now due to lack of quality in the top teams so an away win really isnt that easy anymore. We also lack a pacey forward imo someone to run in behind and stretch teams Berba (who i will give praise to, as i believe he has lifted his game) stands and recieves the ball he's never gonna outpace any defenders. I feel when we get Valencia back we should pick with his pace causing trouble away from home
Berba played well but after his goal he thought he could take on the whole of the Brum team on his own instead of playing others in. But I don't see the forward line as the problem, more the midfield and something psychological in our defending towards the end of matches.
I do our team is usually about pace and stretching teams as a central midfielder myself I wouldn't relish having Rooney and berba to pass too. I'd much rather be able to hit balls into space for players to run onto and berbs ain't outpacing no one
Yeh I see what you mean, I prefer a traditional number 9 too tbh. Fair point, but we still need a midfielder to make those passes

SAF made a massive error playing Giggs ad Rooney wide. Both of them where always going to cut inside on their stronger foots, and with Brum having so many back and being so compact they were just coming into too many bodies all of the time, the game neeeded to be stretched with someone who would stay wide like Obertan.

Okay, I just realised Nani and Fletcher didn't play. Might be unfair to question their commitment unless they have stated they didn't want to play. I don't think Ferguson would take any flaking out from either player. I reckon he felt he just didn't need them.

NO good whining and bitching about it now. You dismissed Birmingham and it cost you 2 points which they deserved. How very arrogant :p

Why would you want Fletcher for a game like that anyway? Espiceally in his form. Not much Nani can do about being injured.
Fletcher at least offers more than Gibson and who else was available? Sorry mate but that's bollox about Nani. He was supposed to be ok according to Fergie. Regardless of all of Rooney's misgivings he would want to play and badger the fork out of Fergie to play. Ronaldo was exactly the same, and there you see the difference in character between theim and Nani.
Why not play Giggs CM and then play Obertan wide right?

Nani would have bene on the bench f he was even nearly ready. Why take a risk if he isn't 100% with basically the only winger we have atm.
Yeh I said at the time Obertan should have played.

He could have started, got us the lead we needed and then taken him off after 60 mins depending on how the game went. I don't buy that 100% fitness, was Fletcher 100% fit? He should have been there, no point defending him just for the sake of it.
Fletch was ill, he didnt have an injury there is a difference. I think picking on those two players is pointless tbh cos I dont see how it shows any lack of commitment.
Splitting hairs imo, even you joked Fletcher was probly out on the pi55, and there wasn't much made of Nani's injury and Fergie said it wasn't serious on Sunday. I'm not picking on them at all, but with the quality of the squad in midfield those players are needed. You can tell how hungry players are at times like these, when there's a run of games in the middle of a freezing winter and I'd expect players like Rooney and in the past Ronaldo to be playing and performing through the pain barrier if they have to. I just don't see that from the likes of Nani and he's not the only one. Even Evra looks disinterested atm and Carrick could be sleep walking the lack of effort he shows.

I think the attitudes of the opposition now have a lot to do with it. If you look at the league, there seem to be a lot of 'smaller' teams working really hard on not losing at home, which means it's not going to be easy for bigger teams away. United started dropping points away from home early in the season and maybe a rot set in from there.

:( Im all out we just need a decent passer and someone who can command that midfield get rid of Gibson, and Carrick. Fletcher as much as i like him should really only be a squad player. Im extremely looking forward to the summer i think there where be a major over haul :D

You'd also expect a good performance at home against a newly promoted West Brom? Bolton? Fulham? We've had very few good performances this year, even when we're 'expected' to blow teams out of the water, so when one comes along excuse us for being happy with it.

And if a united fan posted that we should be expecting to beat such and such you'd come ouch calling us arrogant, not agreeing with us and saying yea you're right.
Not sure how many of those 3 you mention have been at home. Playing them away is a completely different kettle of fish.

I don't think coming out and stating that you expect to beat a severly weakened Sunderland team as arrogant.
