Manchester City confirm that the FA has informed Kolo Toure that an ‘A-sample’ provided by him has tested positive for a specified substance. As result of this, he has been suspended from participating in all first team and non-first team matches pending the outcome of the legal process. There will be no further comment from the football club at this stage. |

Christ you moved that quick Papa Seems its an internal test and City have acted quickly to prevent more scandal. I wonder what the drug is? He's been injured for some weeks now so could possibly be something related to that, to aid quick recovery etc. Will surely get 5 or 6 month ban depending on the details...could be more. Exactly what we need right now!

Dotty actually got to it a fraction before me - I got an error when I went to move it as he'd already done it ![]() Is it really much of a problem for City in terms of players? Hasn't Kolo been pretty poor this season anyway? |

Not quite the same as Kolo turned up for his test.... Either because he thought he'd get away with it or he didn't know they were in his system. I wont decide until i know more details...but what a forking idiot if deliberate and he thought he would get away with it
