Unlike Kolo, Rio was never tested to have taken an illegal substance

lol. Rio had some s**t in his system he didnt want people to know about. Thats why he lied about having his phone off when he was on the phne to his quack. Anyway, that is old news, get over it. The fa should have a standard punishment, but when do the fa do anything sensible. i also think non pefomnce enhancing drugs should carry a warning before banning some one |

That's not what the anti doping association said. The charge was specifically due to missing the test plus i doubt a matter of hours or even less would make a great deal of difference to the result. Which is still ridiculous as hundreds of similar cases have been treated much more leniently before and since. I fail to see why turning up to a test and testing positive is better than being late to one as well. But anyway, the standard punishments have been changed since so its a lot more regular i think. 6 months seems to be the most common. |

A matter of hours or even less can make the difference between the drug showing up in a test or it being metabolised and cleared from the system |

especially if he has had advice from his doctor btw, a punishment for missing a test should be alot worse than providing a positive sample for your wifes dieting pills if teh punishment wasnt really bad for missing a test then players would just miss them if they had something illegal in their system and take a small ban anyhoo, Kolo has done what we bought him for (to get his brother to sign) now he can be our back up CB |

What drug do you think he took? He offered to go in the next day didn't he? Also dependent on the drug a few hours can make no difference or a huge difference. Some drugs can be picked up from hair follicles for several months. |
