He was helping carry you to relegation before Dazza came in ![]() he is a decent player but its alot for him to be earning especially as I doubt he will start every game for united |

TBH wages wont be a major problem at United, we have lost Scholes, Neville, Hargo from last season and look to be selling Brown, JOS, and Gibson Then bringing in De Gea, Young, Jones and maybe Nasri . There is room in the budget considering United made a £90m operating profit last season Its a lot of money still but he is a very good player |

last 3 seasons before this we WERE right up there for champions league spots each season. its not ashleys fault our defence couldnt keep a clean sheet this season. he's not worth 130k but half of that? easily. he probably worth around 80k a week on current wages. |

I agree, he's worth more than half of that... or it looked as though he was at Villa. He'll find himself around many more high performing players at United than at Villa. |

Yea he is a good player, one of your better players and to YOUR team he is worth it but I dont think he will be to uniteds. He is worth about half of it yea, i would pay him around 60k a week but he wouldnt join for that due to what he is on already at Villa . If he is getting 130k a week and going for 18m that is scandalous. He wont start every game as they already have better wingers than him, he can play of the main man but Wazza is there already so that is not happening. Jeffers said they are getting alot of the wage bill that is a good point so they can afford it but I would not pay a squad player that kind of money. SAF knows whta he is doing though I suppose |

Torres is one of the best strikers in the world, not on form but ability and hes only 27 and Luiz isnt on that kind of money Is Vieira on that? And Joe Cole is complete s**t and ripped Lverpool off, the reason he left us was because we didnt want to pay him 100k a week |

Trust me, Luiz is on that money. Check the Chelsea wage bill, he wouldn't have come to be paid any less. Torres hasn't been one of 'the very best players in the world' for 18 months. Vieira on ridiculous money, over the £130k a week you talk about. |

Other players being on that kind of money doesn't make it any less of a joke. |

I'm not condoning it, I've been moaning about wages for years now. But if they ask and they get, who is at fault? |

the wage structure of football as a whole is a joke, this is just continuing the trend. |
