Uwesgrandad just mentioned this in another thread, I don't get it either.

I can understand looking out for other teams results perhaps, but support one team IMO.

Anyone else support more than one team? (if 'supporting' more than one team is possible).

Depends how you define "support".

I always check the results of Hythe Town and Folkestone Invicta but I wouldn't say that I support them. Just like to see them doing well.

Same as me mate, I support United win lose or draw. I have no affiliation with any other team. I can watch other teams but couldn't care less if they lose.

Well to me 'support' is potentially go to a match. Get involved in the team, feel an affiliation to them other than enjoying the football they play etc.

Who put that they support more than one club? Who do you support if they were to play one another?

This I can understand providing they are not in the same league.

But when somebody follows two big clubs from different countries it baffles me.

I've been to matches of both teams. Used to train at Hythe Town and my secondary school shared the pitch at Folkestone. Plus I've got mates who have played for both teams.

So does that mean I support them by your definition?

In some sense I guess.

I can understand being a fan of football, and watching differing leagues etc but I don't feel any affiliation to any team but United. That includes internationally as well. I couldn't care less how Italy, or England get on.

I don't.

I don't understand an affiliation to more than one club.

If you want to take it personally then fair enough.

I'm not unhappy for you, I was asking a question of how someone can have a genuine affiliation for any more than one team.
