It can be the same for all sports, my favourite tennis player is Nadal but I love watching Novak win as he is improving the general standard of tennis. My love for the sport is bigger than any one player.

I can see what Goonie means

instead of starting a new thread, could you all explain how you support your team(s)

i buy the new kit every time one comes out, them i get the kit printed with the clubs players longest name. I sleep in City jimmy jams and my bedroom has a city quilt, covers, i have city curtains and everything in my house os city related.

Not true above. I go to most home games and a few aways

I haven't bought a kit since the Yanks took over but will this season.

Can't get to much games because I live in Ireland and I still go to school and have no job but once I get a job I plan on going to more.

I watch every game thats on TV and if not on TV I watch on a stream no matter how s**t it is.

I watch the U18's and Reserves on LFC TV.

But none of this will matter to some people because I don't go to games.

Changing my tune since 2008.
I don't know how you'd class my support then: blatantly I support Rovers as my main team but I also go to watch Accy Stanley if there's a match on and I've nothing else to do (there are lots of midweek fixtures). I want them to do well because they're a local club and I always look for their results after Rovers', but Rovers will always be my main team.
