Changing my tune since 2008.

Phil Jones. Everybody put him down as a one season wonder (well, a half season wonder). He's now my personal first choice centre back as he is less prone to mistakes than Samba and Nelson, and he has pace to burn. He is incredibly mature on the pitch for his age and will continue to progress. He doesn't look out of place marking the top players in the league and yeah, I'd definitely take him ahead of the others on the list any day. |

In Order Jones Cahill/Shawcross/Dann Jones would be my first choice then after that I'd wouldn't be fussed which of the three |

Shawcross wouldn't be the player he is if we hadn;t of sold him. Plus, he'd be nowhere near our team atm. |

nope I agree but its "potential" atm, Jones is showing it and Cahill has only showed glimpses of it imo |

I think there is a bit of a wink fest over Jones because he is so young. Cahill has been excellent for Bolton for a few years now and I'd personally take him over Jones at United |

Jones should stay at Rovers for at least one more season. If he carries on the way he has been playing then there will be a bidding war next summer |
