not surprised they have a tight wage structure and for them to get in more players, they prob have to free up funds

this is the beginning of their downward spiral

Tbh, I think they're just clearing deadwood. They have one of the biggest squads in the Prem and Harry has a very set team.

Ben Alnwick, Alan Hutton, Kyle Naughton, Sébastien Bassong, David Bentley, Jermaine Jenas, Wilson Palacios, Niko Kranjcar, Jamie O'Hara, Giovani dos Santos and Robbie Keane.

None of them have played enough for spurs in the last few seasons,

Replace Jenas, O'Hara and Palacios with Parker

Keane, Dos Santos and Defoe/Pav with a top class striker

Hutton, Bassong, Naughton, Benltey, Alnwick and Gomes will just be extra money towards the other players they need

None would get into the United side

I think Kranjcar is probably the best of the bunch but wouldn't play anymore games at City than he does at Spurs i think.

Bassong looked quality at Newcastle but haven't seen much of him recently.

The rest will just go to another club and go through the motions like they have at Spurs, except O'Hara who does seem genuinely keen to do well at his loan clubs.

Will be keeping Cech in my pocket for the next 3 months. Thanks Pedro :thumb:

Bassong was brilliant last season, this season he was dropped in favor of Gallas, Between Gallas, King, Dawson, Woodgate and Kaboul they dont really need him if he wants first team football

I wouldnt be surprised to see Defoe at Newcastle/Everton/Sunderland

Only Niko at pool but midtable clubs like fulham, stoke, blackburn and even newcastle could do very well from this..jenas is still a good player, if robbie would take decent wages he will get goals, Bentley could cut it with one of them, and given a change gio could show some of his potential he showed before and move on for a good price
