Venkys didn't deal with the contract. So them not remembering putting it in is rubbish.

That is what the problem is. Doesn't matter anyway, it's in. Jones will soon be a Utd player

they are disputing the validity of the clause

they are fully correct, why should united not get jones for a large premium price, imo they should be paying around 20m for him

Of course they aren't correct stop talking crap. Just because you don't agree with the price doesn't mean it isn't right :sigh: The offer was accepted, he passed his medical and agreed terms.

LFC would have been fine if Liverpool had be the ones paying that amount, but the player turned you down

stop being thick

every club needs to look after themselves, they were forced to accept it, now they may have realised something was wrong with the clause, so they are looking into it

stop being so tinted, god you united fans are so arrogant, think the world revolves around everything being suited to you

get a grip

They have the right to see if the clause is valid, just because he passed his medical doesnt mean they cant look into it now

the whole point is about the clause

sigh

ok I know you are an united fan so i should have gone slower

They accepted the fee as it met the valid release clause which forced them to accept

1 day later

they think the clause may not have been valid

so they put a block on the deal until they find out

whats wrong with that?

nothing

wait until they are ready, if its not valid, they have every right to reject it, if its correct, then the deal will go through so stop being such so snobbish about it

lol how can a club suddenly decide they change their mind and reject a bid after accepting it. If united had done that over a player lfc's argument would be slightly different me thinks..
