He will fit our plans when Wes Brown and O'Shea are cleared out. He willlearn more from Rio & Vidic than he would at Blackburn

Look at Smalling when he moved to Utd compared to now, if you have ability Fergie is one of the best around and getting it out.

I hope for his sake that Man Utd loan him back to us next season. I know that sounds selfish but if he is guaranteed game time in a stable environment he already knows, it will only help to nurture his development moreso than sitting on the bench at United. Then he knows he can go back to United in a season's time with more playing time under his belt and with that experience. He will then be more likely to get in the team - after all, Ferdinand most definitely isn't getting younger or less injury prone. Ferguson didn't want to swoop for him this season, he wanted to get Jones next season which suggests that Jones does not fit into SAF's plans for this season so it would be wise to loan him out to another club, and bearing in mind he is settled and is a fans favourite, it would make sense to loan him to Blackburn.

What do you United fans think of that?
i was thinking that myself, he'll help the united side alot this coming season if its reported that o'shea, gibson and brown are off, i still see jones as a defender and smalling and himself will be the future of our back 4, i do see sence in that with smalling and jones in the same side 1 of them will suffer with the likes of vidic and rio at the club,

I think Smalling played more last season than he was playing at Fulham. Jones will likely play less.

Going To Make You An Offer You Cant Refuse.
He'll get his chances at United and will learn so much at OT in comparison with Ewood. Also bare in mind he can play CM. I can see him getting 20+ games tbh.

I think it will be a good idea. There is no better experience than actually starting every premiership game. Granted , he will learn a hell of a lot from Ferdy and Vid. He is still very young. Its not like we offer him nothing, afterall we have made him become one of the best young defenders in the world

I'm not sure if this is true but..

Asked about why he rejected LFC and AFC,Jones said "If I wanted my career to continue with no trophies I'd just stay at Blackburn''
