Do you think Wenger will spend the money on buying those players though? He has seemed very reluctant in the past. I wouldn't be surprised to see one signing like Hazard come in, but 2/3 big money signings?

Maybe Mr Wenger will be less stubborn this year, I can only see players of that price range comming in if other are sold as well. I really like the idea of the Cesc for 30ME & Thiago & Bojan deal for a start, add to that selling Nasri & perhaps Walcott or Arshavin plus rubbish like Dennilson & Rosciky & we might be talking. TV will also seem like a new signing & a fit & on form Gibbs is better than Clichy. I would like to see this team next year :)

Thiago would be a fantastic if you could get him. He is really talented, he could probaly slot straight into the first team alongside Wilshere tbh.

Apparently Clichy is wanted by Liverpool, so you will need another left-back. Gibbs seems to be injured all of the time.

I don't think Bojan is good enough for Arsenal, theyd be better off with Thiago or WIlshere in behind van Persie upfront on his own or buying a different striker I think

Arsenal shouldn't to be worried that Nasri will go. The club has money so we should either let him have it or not. When he returns from France or Poland or wherever he's at Wenger should sit down and get a final answer outta him. Financially we don't (or shouldn't) need to sell him. If he decides not to sign a contract we should buy in someone else this summer and let him sit there with his bad mind.

Liverpool can have him, he never lived upto the expection after fitting in so well for Cole for a season or 2. You are probably right about Bojan, good enough for the bench though as an impact striker, better than Bender anyway! I like your idea, perhaps would set up like this then :

...........................Song
...........Wilshere.............Thiago
Hazzard.....................................Matta
............................RVP

Nice :D

If only Mr Wenger would be so brave. More managers should do this, if Nasri refuses to sign a new deal or be sold to a club we want at a price we want then he should be left on the bench all next season

I think its possible if we sell, Thiago would part of the Cesc deal for a start. Then the 30ME on top can go on Matta. Player sales (Rosicky, Nasri, Rosicky, Dennelison, Bender etc) will raise the cash for Cahill, meaning the board only have to fund the Hazzard deal. Maybe they should give me a ring :balotelli:

Walcott will struggle to play through the center next season tbf unless Arsenal go 4-4-2. He would do well as a striker imo but he will pay on the last man and try to run in behind which is basically impossible to do at arsenal cause you have so much possesion so teams will just sit of you. He is not quite suited to doing it at Arsenal imo

They'll certainly be doing well if they can sell Rosicky twice ;)

Nah but Wenger seems to understand very well that we need players and he's been talking more about it than usual rather than claiming we're all good, so I'm hoping he can make good things happen. But we need to keep either Fabregas or Nasri and I worry that selling one would p*** off the other.

If Arsenal start giving out 100k plus contracts to players like Nasri, who knows where it will end. The only player who tried to keep us going last season when things went downhill was RvP and you don't hear him crowing about money. Losing Nasri wouldn't be a huge disaster, he's another player who you can see could be amazing but hasn't been consistent BUT him joining United would be, as the young people today say, an epic fail.

We will be lucky to sell him once!

I don't think we need to keep either as long as we add correctly. Wilshere & song are a great foundation. Players like Matta, Hazzard, Thiago, Turan etc will fit right in :D

If we want to keep them then we do need to give players as good as Nasri £100K + as others will if we don't. Thing is, Nasri's contract should have been sorted last year or he should have been sold then for a decent some, bad business yet again. Yep, losing him to Utd is as you say failure on an epic scale.

I like you, you talk sense :D
