They just asked Warnock how many points it would take for QPR and he mentioned about how it was last season and how different it was to the previous. With the clubs at the top looking like spending and spending quite big how do you think the teams lower down will fare? Also will the tally to win the league be higher this season do you think? |

I think the points tally will be higher this season. Last season's winning points total was the lowest in the past 4 or 5 years, if I heard right on tv. I'll be surprised if it happens again. |

I expect Chelsea and United to be miles ahead of everyone come the end of the season. City to finish 3rd again and maybe Liverpool to get 4th. |

I think 10 points would be a new low. Derby County would be freed from their unfortunate record. |

Top 4 will be the same as this season. If Arsenal go through their annual implosion then they could get dragged into a bit of a fight for 4th but I think their early season form will see them finish up there. Obviously depends on the rest of the window and all that

I think the standard will be higher in general but the top teams were distinctly average last season in one way or another. Having said that, you just never know, the bottom teams could kick some serious ass

Don't be silly, of course it doesn't Man United and Chelsea have already improved immensely on last season dintcha know. What's that you say? It's only been a month since the season ended and they've barely got started to address their problem areas? So? They'll be miiiiiiiles ahead.

The reason i say it is Liverpool will not be in europe so they will have all the rest and be up for the prem, arsenal are the weakest out of the current top 4 and have to start this season early to get into the CL, also there is the possiblity of losing Cesc or Nasri. I can understand that goonie gets very upset over things but that is just my opinion. |

Top stuff. Considering the international window hasn't even opened yet to make any predictions is unrealistic atm. There is but one certainty in the Premiership: there's a 90% chance Utd will finish in the Top 2

Would be a shocker if they didn't, admittedly. Everyone has to improve though, big time. No team in the top 4, United included, can't afford to perform like they did last season because you never know what the other teams might pull off. United and Chelsea are consistently the top 2 teams in the league but they can't rely on City being as poor as they were last season, and even with Arsenal's rather predictable form issues through a season they can't rely on that, either. Liverpool were really strong at the end of the season too and only their earlier issues under Roy eliminated them as a concern. Next season should be brilliant, really looking forward to it. |
