Not so sure to be honest! I think the pressure he is under and the focus around him is affecting him big time and I cant see him being anywhere near as good as he has previously been! I wouldn't be surprised to see him back on his way to Spain before long! I hope im wrong to be fair as I like to see good players playing well, but even when he scored last week in the friendly he played absolutely terrible! it will be interesting to see what happens!
Did you watch the friendly?
Because he only played about 30 mins and scored with his first touch, then he took the ball round Dunne and was denied by a top save by Given
Also he was chasing down balls and looked a threat whenever he got the ball....

He will score a decent amount of goals IF the right players arrive at the club. He needs a few creative players around him that will always look for him. He needs to feel like he is the go to guy imo. The problem that he has aswell though is that he could have to alter his style a little due to the fact that he simply isnt as fast as he used to be, he has to be a little cleverer in his positioning . I have no doubts he will bang in the goals again

It would help if Lampard actually passed to him this season tbh.

Yep. I was a bit obsessed when he moved and watched all his games. Essien was a selfish goblin most of the time aswell. If him or Lampard had the ball within 35 yards, forget about recieving a pass.

Success is winning championships. It is nothing less than that. And when you win a championship – and we will – success isn't measured or accomplished by winning once

Same here

I wasn't sure whether to be happy or not that Torres wasn't scoring because the stupidity and selfishness of the Chelsea midfield was just really p***ing me off. Even if Torres was in acres of space he just didn't seem to get given the ball. Just seemed like nobody really wanted him playing

Yea I watched every game he played aswell the lack of creativity was actually hard to watch. Fat frank or Essien probably would have passed if they actually saw the guy, their heads were constantly down, its hard seeing a striker in such good positions and for the ball to be flying over his head every time

with regards to Torres, I rekon its a case of Rehabilitation, I dont think he'll hit full form this year, and I think chelsea have a safety net in Drogba, So I rekon he'll hit form but maybe not before xmas

Tbh Lampard did pass to Torres quite a few times, the real problem was Malouda and Anelka, these two just shoot any time they get the ball!

Even when Torres scored against Aston Villa, it was because Malouda fluffed his shot from over 30 yards out
Ive lost count the amount of times Malouda could have passed to a team mate but chose to shoot instead, very frustrating to watch

RE: Fat Frank and others not passing to Torres.

The amount of sitters he kept missing, I'm not bloody surprised they didn't pass to him. He was bloody awful.

10 goals, I still don't think Chelsea can effectively adopt him in to the team.
