Boring Boring Chelsea
A bit naughty of Big Frank, I think. Although he's invariably correct, as a Chelsea fan, he shouldn't be stoking the fire by keeping Torres in the spotlight. That will happen to a certain extent until he starts scoring consistently anyway, but Frank shouldn't be providing more ammunition.
Trying to get an accurate picture of reality, even when that's unpleasant or inconvenient!

Torres plays two games with Mata, Sturridge and Meireles

1 goal and 2 assists, not bad!

They dont need to set him up, adding those 3 makes our play alot faster which suits Torres

Yeah funny how slow we played at the start of the season without those 3 and the fact Torres hardly had any decent chances....

Oh so they're just ignoring AVB now and playing at a faster pace? AVB has the same system going. If anything the fact he is getting chances (Which he has been getting all along) and you think you're team is playing well shows that he just isn't anywhere near what he once was. Bottling chance after chance I heard.

Lol, yeah AVB wants us to play at a faster pace, but you need the right players for it aswell!
And no, the first few games he was hardly getting any service, just like he was hardly getting any last season

I know how Porto played and I know they played at a fast pace but you're telling me with the players that in 09/10 countered with such pace can't play that way? You had the players already. The only main change from that side is Torres so if anything he is the problem for the lack of pace in your play becuase he won't be bringing others into play like Drogba can.

Yeah no chance last season. Any stats to back that up? I remember him bottling quite a few chances last season and well he bottled quite a few today I heard.

The Torres goal didn't come from a piece of play which was down to the pace of how a team plays from the replay I saw either.

Chelsea really, really didnt have the players. the main reason torres is playing that bit better is because of Mata. watched chelsea since he signed and he has been supplying endless chances quality chances which wasnt there before.

Yes they did have the players to play with pace. What they didn't was the right lone striker. Well they did but he was and is on the bench.

Tell me how the same bunch of players who countered with such pace in 09/10 suddenly can't play the same? Either style of play isn't the same which means the players are there and the tactics are wrong or the players are not the right ones being picked and Torres was the only major change so Torres would be the problem.
