Malouda created more chances than any other player in the league last season. Very good player. I agree the players were not playing as well as they could. I'd say having Drogba play would help though. Torres is not good enough to be playing as a lone striker if expected to do with Drogba role. Infact Falcao has a better allround game so he won't be doing that role to the level he did for Porto either.
Henderson supposedly created the second amount of chances last season  that 'chances created' stat is bullshit.
It was actually 5th most created, the four to create more scoring chances than Henderson were Malouda (117), K Davies (91), Brunt (86) and Downing.

The most creative players in the league.
I knew he was on that list somewhere, I took a guess and hoped no one would know :ph43r:
Spend any amount of time on rawk and it will get etched into your brain

I saw the ball from Anelka and the pace of play had nothing to do with that goal. Not a single thing. Anyway today is just an example becuase he had those chances last season! Don't even begin to tell me he didn't get a single chance like he got today last season. He just bottled the ones he did. Also did you see him at Liverpool? Everyone is making out thats the only time he scores but he scored so many goals and the finishes were not all the same in behind the defence.

Tbh if people are only judging him on those sort of chances they are admitting he will never get back to his Liverpool days becuase at Liverpool he finished all sorts of chances.

What I am saying is true. Go watch any Liverpool complilation of his goals. You'll see a hell of a lot of them were not balls in behind the defence and that he scored a lot of the type of chances he gets at Chelsea while at Liverpool.

it comes through balance of play. and better players gerrard is/was better than any of chelsea's attacking players. YES perhaps malouda created tons. BUT Mata is >>> Malouda and any other of chelsea's attacking players. Which in affect will raise chelsea's quality of play.

I fully expected him to get about 20/25 goals this season. Him being a goalscorer has never been in question for me but when I hear people saying he'll get back to his best. Liverpool 07-09? That just isn't going to happen.

Jeez

Its simple, put Torres in a team with a slow attacking build up, he will struggle, like last season
Put him in a team that attacks quickly and he will do well, like he has since mata and the rest have came in

You said he did well in his couple of games. 0 of those players were in those games.

Jeez. Its simple you're making excuses. He is in the side to score and he keeps bottling.

In the last two games, Torres has been of our best players, Mata, Sturridge and Meireles all played in those two games aswell

He was the player you were raving about in the first couple also. So it would seem they didn't change him too much.

Either that or you will just praise him blindly.
