Mancini: I don't have enough players

Okay so the quote is actually "i don't have players at the moment".

Quote:

Mancini bemoaned his inability to rest the likes of Yaya Toure and Gareth Barry with James Milner and Nigel De Jong currently sidelined through injury.

Asked if that meant he did not have enough players, he added: "We are lacking at this moment because we lost two midfielders. "I don't have players at the moment. I can only change the fullbacks. I have only two midfielders, because James and De Jong have injuries."
he also suggested that his players lack the mentality of champions after watching them waste numerous chances to kill off opponents for the third time in eight days.
Quote:

"What team comes here against Fulham in London and has over 70 per cent of ball possession?" he added. "We had the same problem against Wigan at home. We had 15 chances in the first half and we scored only one goal.

"It doesn't always go well if you don't score, if you don't close the game." Mancini was unhappy with the way his star-studded attackers defended, too, accusing them of shirking their responsibilities.

"For 10 minutes, we defended with five or six players. It is not good enough," he said. "I'm not angry. I'm just disappointed because we conceded two stupid goals."
i wonder if mancini will go crazy in january and buy some players just in case

City are not ruthless enough, when we go a couple of goals up we seem to stop atacking and slow right down.

that is something Bobby will sort out soon

“I need to speak with Owen and on Tuesday we will decide if he will play, but he probably will. He has been in full training but he is not 100 per cent. He could play maybe 30 to 45 minutes,” said Mancini.

What excuses? he's just giving a realistic evaluation of how things are atm... I doubt he will buy much new players in January... we have some annoying injuries for the midfield atm... Hargreaves needs to get playing fit according to mancini, he's been brought to replace toure (Yaya) when he is the ACN in january..

They are excuses.

If spending hundreds of millions only gives you adequate cover for full backs, then I suggest City re-think their buying policy!

 sure injuries are excuses.... We have enough midfielders but quite a few of them are injured so they are not avaible. i.e. at this moment there is no adequate cover in the midfield. simples.

Hargreaves is apparently ready to play against Birmingham tomorrow so maybe we will see him sooner rather than later!! He played in an inhouse game on the training ground the other day with toure getting a run out too!! some good footage here ... http://www.theplayersnet.com/day-manchester-city-scenes-footage-video/
