City and Tevez have brought this on themselves. They kinda deserve each other.

City should have sold the player. He was unhappy and he wanted to leave. They didn't need him and received a reasonable bid for him from a club on a different continent.

Tevez should have kept quiet and behaved better. He was a captain, ran his mouth about the club and now he's a bit part player who's pretty much stuck there. Talking down about your club is something you should save until you've gone, if you really have to do it at all, especially if your club is rich enough to let you rot.
flak and gary love stacie and weep sorrowful tears when she's not around

Anyone see his statement this morning saying he didn't refuse to play? He really loves playing the fan card. don't think he's realised they're all sick of him by now. Oh, and if he didn't refuse to play why give a post-match interview explaining why you refused to play

quote from tevez
Quote:

"I would like to apologise to all Manchester City fans, with whom I have always had a strong relationship, for any misunderstanding that occurred in Munich.

"They understand that when I am on the pitch I have always given my best for the club. "In Munich on Tuesday I had warmed up and was ready to play. This is not the right time to get into specific details as to why this did not happen. But I wish to state that I never refused to play.

"There was some confusion on the bench and I believe my position may have been misunderstood. Going forward I am ready to play when required and to fulfil my obligations."
definitely loves playing the fan card i agree, unfortunately he cant act like he's bigger than the club and still keep the fans sweet. it doesnt work like that. he's caused more issues with this because he's basically saying its my word against mancini's who from what i have read has already come out and said that he refused

What I found hilarious about his post match interview was that he needed a translator. Now I know this has been said numerous times before, but if you've been playing in England for about 5 years and barely know a word of English, just shows a lack of commitment imo

imo twunt has had a word and told him to say that he didn't refuse to play. I an sure that is a breach of contract and City could sue him. I also think that twunt is gonna be gutted as his cash cow isn't gonna be worth as much anymore. I really hope we make him train with the womens team, i don't want him near the reserves tbh

Not sure where your coming from with city deserving Tevez behaviour Stacie? City have bent over backwards to make him happy, pay him fantastically well and eventually relent and allow him to leave. Only for Corinthians not to prove they can actually pay for him. No-one else bid! How are City wrong?

Different player and scenario but, Arsenal kept Cesc for 3 years knowing he wanted out. And they didnt have the best from him for 2 years...were they wrong? Should the players wishes always be paramount?

Tevez ALONE is at fault imo and has thrown the support of mancini, kaldoon, mansour and the fans back in our faces.

Its funny to see so many saying City deserve it when we have always done right by Tevez!
Will be keeping Cech in my pocket for the next 3 months. Thanks Pedro :thumb:
