Last time I checked Championship clubs could do loan deals outside of the transfer window. :fishing:

What do we expect to happen to him, loan move?

Carlos Tevez was last night given the green light to return to Argentina.

The Manchester City striker held showdown talks with club officials yesterday, following his alleged refusal to come off the bench in the Champions League defeat to Bayern Munich in Germany last week.

After being told he will learn his fate in the next 48 hours, and that the club had no objection to him leaving the country, Tevez was preparing to fly to his homeland with his wife and two daughters.

Tevez was grilled for an hour by City representatives in Manchester yesterday where he gave his account of what happened a week ago in the Allianz Arena.

It is understood Tevez claimed there was a misunderstanding with boss Roberto Mancini and that was the reason he failed to come on, rather than refusing to play.

City want the investigation finished by Thursday – seven days after Tevez was suspended for two weeks on full pay pending the outcome – in accordance with their original time frame.

All options, including the termination of Tevez’s contract if the player is found to be guilty of gross misconduct, remain open to City, with the club now keen to draw a line under the episode.

Tevez and his representative Kia Joorabchian did not know the location of the meeting until 90 minutes before it was due to start as officials were keen to ensure privacy.

Members of City’s coaching staff, who were on the bench in Munich, as well as several of Tevez’s team-mates have also been interviewed.

Mancini, who brought an official complaint against Tevez for his alleged refusal to play, was spoken to as part of the internal enquiry before he travelled home to Italy on Saturday following City’s 4-0 win at Blackburn.

i honestly want him to be put in the reserves and left to rot :thumb:

or so the pfa dont get involved, keep him at the club and keep putting him on the bench for the next 4 year, but never bring him on

edit, Tevez has told the club that he will stay in england til everything is concluded, i would drag it out tbh

viva, the fitness coach was Ivan Carminati, who doesnt speak spanish, so perhaps he did speak in english :o

i do wonder now though after his refusal to play, does he want to play full stop? i'm thinking he'd rather not play at all and i'd take a guess judging by his behaviour that he'd be happy to just sit and pick up the money.

he obviously wants to get out of the club but if he cant do that my next guess would be that he'd quite happily sit there and do nothing so maybe leaving him to rot on the bench wouldnt quite give him what he deserves.

no one knows what he's thinking when it comes down to it but in an ideal world he should be put into a club where he wont be the golden boy and wont get any attention either.

he wants out of manchester

if he wanted it that badly he would take a huge drop in wages to secure a move, or even have a word with the cluba nd buy his contract out, but both would mean he would lose out on money and the twunt wouldnt get a huge cut when he moved (i think)

if he trained with City he would have to be in manchester every day and would have to report to the games he was told, so if he was told to play for the reserves and didnt turn up then City fine him. simple

i agree merc, because he isnt the star player he has thrown his toys out of his pram

i would love it, just love it if fifa went through with their threat and banned him from all professional football :thumb:

i have noticed twunt has been keeping quiet for the time being and trying to get his mates in the media to fight his battle and make people feel sorry for Tevez

i wouldnt mind City selling him to anzi either

if you think manchester is bad and the weather is bad here

the weather isnt even that bad in manchester, it kind of grows on you after you've been there for a few years. plus the summer is quite nice and it can get quite hot. other than that its no different from anywhere else in the UK

its all bollox and excuses in my opinion, i just think he doesnt like the fact there are better players at city and the club dont need him anymore.
