Dreaming of being the best in the world makes him self obsessed  Yeah, I am sure no other footballer wants to be the best he can be :sigh:
No not at all mate, Its the Statue of himself he has in his house that makes him self-obsessed...end of that debate! :cheeky:

I'm sure most if not all players dream of it...but could you ever see him being regarded in the same league as Messi let alone better? A resounding NO is the answer.

Like i said, he'll never be the best at United (as long a Rooneys there)
a statue of himself, that is a joke right :o
NANI ARE YOU OK, ARE YOU OK NANI, NANI ARE YOU OK, ARE YOU OK NANI

Nothing wrong with being a little self-obsessed. People who think different have nothing to be even a little self-obsessed about :champion:

The only statue of Nani is outside Craven Cottage! :D

But yeah it's a joke coz it's only a mannequin with a jersey and all his medals on it and the jester hat a fan threw at him when we won the league.

He strives to be the best and believes he can get there. That means he'll only push harder and harder to get there and that can only be good for him and the Manchester United.

Personally, I don't think he will ever be on the same pedestal as Ronaldo and Messi but he'll come damn close.

He's one of our best players and imo the best winger in the league. He has sorted his attitude problem. He won't be on the same level as Ronaldo or Messi but he is a terrific player

He will be nowhere near Ronaldo or Messi he was rubbish for a few years and is started strong this year, but any utd fans remember last season ranting about how world class berba was because he scored a few goals at the start of the season

You love bringing that up  The fact is, the people who praised Berbatov last year were the people who had praised him and stuck by him all along. He still had many, many critics amongst united's support which you choose to ignore. Nani has been brilliant on a consistent basis since January 2010, and he started the 09/10 season off very well too before he got a few niggling injuries, so you don't have a point here.

Berbatov has always been class. It was only the fickle who jumped on the bandwagon and Nani has never been "rubbish".

Berbatov is always called lazy. Last season he made more tackles away from home than anyone but Nani and Vidic and we got told he is working a little harder.....yeah just a little. People will always hate and pick up on the little things and Berbatov just didn't gain too many fans but his class for me has never been in doubt. His touch, link up play, ball retention etc.... are just amazing.

Has anyone actually seen it?

Everybody should thrive to be the best at what they do in any walk of life.
Well said mate.

It's good that he strives to be better, that's the idea of everything in life, very much so a footballer.

It's the reason Ronaldo is so good, he believed he could be the best and has shown it to. He strived for perfection.

I was not Nani's biggest fan at the beginning of hos career. but Nani has stuck at it and is fast becoming a top player in the world. hes stronger faster more confident. and is becoming more reliable. he has deffo proved me wrong. just needs to use his brain a bit more at times.
Rivaldo greatest player in my time
