He'd do well I think. In the two friendlies (I know) he played with united at the start of the summer he definitely looked as though he could still do a job.

Would do OK and could see him racking up a few assists.

His biggest asset to any club is still commercial imo.
Will be keeping Cech in my pocket for the next 3 months. Thanks Pedro :thumb:

He'd at best be an impact player, he can still cross a ball as well as anyone and because he never really had much speed he's not really lost any. A club like QPR could do a lot worse but I'm assuming this would be a loan deal if it went through at all?

Didn't he sign for some ridiculous length of time like 6 or 7 years?

Nah i don't think so. He may be able to have a small impact if played sparingly, which imo is all he'd be capable of. Don't think you can assess how he'd play properly based off a pre-season friendly or 2.

Think so, in a similar capacity to how scholes was in his final years at united. No substitute for quality like those two have.

No, because he's been retired since 2007. Next question.

This ^

Wouldn't play 50 games a season by any means, but as a different option he's brlliant. Crossing and set plays are probably still better than anyone around.

I'd be tempted to give him a go at Liverpool never mind QPR  Great player.
