oohh tough one. Welbeck needs confidence wheras Sturridge has confidence in abundance. being pushed id say Sturridge seems more consistent so far and seems the more intelligent player. |

It's a close one definitely. I think Sturridge may be more talented technically but Welbeck's team play is superior and I think he's a smarter footballer. |

Sturridge is a goblin. Welbeck plays for Utd. Therefore neither ![]() Sturridge is far better techincally when out wide but I'd give Welbeck the edge in and around the box. Also Welbeck tends to make more correct decisions atm - Sturridge is always thinking of himself well before he ever thinks of a pass. I'd say Sturridge is a fraction ahead at the moment but Welbeck is progressing more atm. Sturridge has been a good player for quite a while whereas Welbeck is gradually getting better and better. |

Sturridge can be pretty greedy, but hes shown he has the ability to pick out clever passes, just needs to work on when to shoot and when to pass So glad AVB has given him a chance |
