Bent is very good at what he does. True poacher. I'd rather him play ahead of the likes of Defoe if I were an England fan. But I do think that Sturridge and Welbeck should be ahead oh him. |

sturridge, wellbeck, carroll, walcott, you, me, redknapps mum. dimi, i don't think he is any where near good enough for international level. His first touch is pretty poor and he doesn't seem to have any awareness of What is going on around him. It actually shows how p*** poor Englands strikers are that he keeps getting in the squad. |

I noticed during the match yesterday that Bent looked really bored and disinterested, he looked how he was in his last 6 months for us when he wanted away. |

If Sturridge keeps his form up then he has to be one of the starters for us |

your post lost all credibility as soon as you mentioned carroll and walcott. sturridge might start (if his attitude doesnt get in the way) and bent is better than the rest.
dont surprise me, he came to villa for the service and they all left and he is stuck behind. the only player capable of creating any chance is baz who doesnt get played for emile heskey ffs. he will be gone by next summer though imo, sad but true. |

GOAT.
|
Walcott as a striker would probably outscore Welbeck and Sturridge. Defoe should take his place with Sturridge wide right and Young wide left. |

Going To Make You An Offer You Cant Refuse.

Bent if given service is a proven goalscorer. More so than everyone else mentioned, if Young was supporting him from the left and Sturridge (if he pulls his head from his arse and doesn't try to do it alone all the time) from the right I see no reason why Bent wouldn't do well. Carroll shouldn't get a look in. Walcott, and Welbeck can make the bench, the latter due to him only playing a few games for United and a decent season at Sunderland doesn't make him better than a proven seasoned goalscorer IMO. |

Lets be honest, it really doesn't matter who replaces Rooney in the England side. His form is absolutely terrible at tournaments and in the last 2 he's been picked for he has managed 7 shots on target and no assists in 8 games. Not saying he does nothing else but we need a goal scorer and he just doesn't do it. On top of that he is a liability. I'd take Rooney because you'd be daft not too but I'd pick Sturridge to replace him on the pitch and play Welbeck beside him. Our options are very limited. Carroll has no touch or form, Defoe needs too many shots and doesn't seem to know what an offside flag is, Walcott is hit and miss when he's not injured. My 5 forwards for the Tournament would be Sturridge, Welbeck, Bent, Zamora & Rooney. Zamora would be a surprise inclusion but offers more strenght and ariel ability than the rest and can score with both feet. |
Will be keeping Cech in my pocket for the next 3 months. Thanks Pedro

you could say that, but the midfield is too slow and cannot seem to keep the ball or pass quickly we could have 3 top class centre forwards and they would struggle with englands midfield tbh |
