Another defeat for them today. Destined for relegation imo.

How long will they stick with Martinez as manager?

Whelan is a man of morals and is realistic enough to know Wigan have punched way above their weight for years. I really dont know how he has kept the club in the PL as long as he has with only 6-12,000 supporters turning up every week.

I like that he gives Managers real time to prove themselves and never stands in the way of players or managers when wanting to move to bigger clubs.

Top man and a rare example of a selfless chariman doing it for the love of the game :thumb:

On Topic, i think their time might be up in the PL tbh regardless of who's manager.
Will be keeping Cech in my pocket for the next 3 months. Thanks Pedro :thumb:

Looked destined for relegation for three years now but they keep just avoiding it. Think there's worse teams than them in the league ATM.

Which 3 teams do you think are worse? :S

I'm struggling to even think of 1 team who I would confidently say are a worse outfit than Wigan atm

Because they lost to Chelsea?

Everton have far superior players in almost every position and a much better manager.

Well I certainly can't agree with that. I would have Blackburn below Everton tbh. The only thing Everton miss badly is a goalscorer and possibly a little more creativity now Arteta isn't there. Their defenders are good and their midfield is solid with a good keeper. They'll finish the season comfortably higher than Wigan because they are a much better side.

i think wigan might find this season a struggle too far, no real fire power up top, and will always leak goals, pity really i like their openness when united have played them, they always have a go regardless
