I have no idea who we would go for if Kenny was to leave soon. I seriously can see Rafa waiting to see if the job is going again. The morons that backed him to the hilt the first time round will be calling for him to get the job and these owners would listen to it imo

Rafa is a very good manager. Don't tell me there isn't even a small part of you that is curious how it would turn out if he got his first choice targets.

Which came about because he needed funds to work with, and Alonso was saleable. Well not as much as thought, no one would buy him!

If he had NESV he wouldn't be selling Bellamy to afford Torres etc. We'd have such a brilliant team if we stumped up the cash for Alves, Aguero et al.

Alonso then went on to have his best season for you and help you mount their only title challenge in 20 years.

Did he really though? :S

He was never going to replace Alonso, he was going to play barry lm but he couldnt get the funds, so he tried to get the board to cough up the funds by saying he would sell Alonso...then madrid offered 30 million

If my granny had bollocks she'd be my granda.

That's not my point though. That table shows the club was spending more than it was earning on transfers in the Rafa years (04-10?). I'm not sure how accurate they are, was the first table I came across.
