Jose is God

From last season? Chelsea have improved a huge amount, we are so much more dangerous in attack, Mata and Sturridge have been brilliant on the wings and Torres looks like he is getting back to his best, great attack IMO Meireles has made a big difference in midfield, hes great at keeping the ball and dictating the play, slotted right in to our team and AVB has us playing some great football |

GOAT.

I don't think he's properly back. He still looks a shadow of the player he used to be. He doesn't look that confident, he wastes easy chances, he never looks comfortable on the ball. At Liverpool, although you could see he was flawed, he still looked confident and despite raping a few touches, he still looked sharp enough to get on the end of them. ^^ Post from someone elsewhere. Sums it up perfectly for me. Good player but still a shadow of his former self. (Not to open this debate up again but I never explained it that well )

We've vastly improved our attack and midfield. Overall we are a much better team. The experience of 12 months together is showing on the pitch with City playing possession & passing football and we're scoring for fun. Some of last seasons big players like VK and NDJ are doing well but still haven't hit their best form so we will only get stronger as the season goes on imo. Bobby set his team up last season to win points not admirers. This season he's going for goals in every game and we are looking great domestically. Europe is another story. Overall i'm really happy and another top 3 finish is looking nailed on. |
Will be keeping Cech in my pocket for the next 3 months. Thanks Pedro

Boring Boring Chelsea

I'm happy with how we're looking; we're playing well, scoring goals and looking good doing it! My one concern at this point is that we've had a very easy opening run of games. With the exception of Man Utd away, we would have been expected to win every game so far. As it is, we've almost done that, with the exception of a draw at Stoke on the opening day. Having a relatively easy opening has been a dream for AVB. It's allowed him to impose his philosophy and style, whilst blooding the new players, but still racking up the points and confidence. I think the next 8 games will tell us more about Chelsea than the last 8. 30 games to go and we've still got to play Arsenal, Spurs, Liverpool and City twice and Man Utd once! Still, the other 21 games should be easy!! Edited by The Plastic Flag, Oct 22 2011, 09:37 AM.

as much as we expected tbh. we have improved immensely down the left. enrique has been an inspired signing for £6m and downing is far superior to anything we had last season. we have improved our creativity in the middle of the park with signings of henderson and adam. coates has improved the squad also. we need another striker tho |

United still haven't improved the key area of CM and it does look like we need a creative CM and a proper DM in the side now. Made some good signings but i think the hand was forced with them(Young and Jones). DDG is good but I wouldn't say an improvement, more a direct replacement(thought that's quite obvious )

MOVE !!...Im Head Boy !!

Yea agree with fields. I think we were trying to build a solid squad to get top 4 and IF we get that we will buy one or two top top players. We are alot stronger on the wings and the squad depth is alot better. We lack a poacher type striker and im not 100% sure on the cb situation. Apart from that im pretty happy Edited by BALLBAG, Oct 22 2011, 03:46 PM.

deffo need another striker especially with selling egg nog and carroll being a total numpty in front of goal.i think we are very strong in the centre back area, probably one of the strongest in the division tbh |

Aggers a crock and Skrtel is a mess . Carra will probably lose his place to Kelly next year IMO. Skrtel is fine in a 3 man cb lineup but thats about it. Coates does look class tbf Edited by BALLBAG, Oct 22 2011, 03:55 PM.

yes. obviously utd, chelski and citeh are prob up there with us. it will be his last year as a first pick i would imagine but his reading of the game is 2nd to none. skrtel yes he can be a bit dodgy but if agger is fit we have one of the best centre backs in the league. throw into that the undoubted potential of coates (carraghers replacement) we have a very strong quartet for those positions |

No I know you are winding me up.Agger is an overrated crock. You basically have no class CBs at all imo. None of them would get into any of the top 4 teams. |
