Just saw euros say about what Stoke get up to - "stokes holding, grabbing, pushing, wrestling in the box is cheating and ugly how they get away with it is beyond me". I agree they may be heavy handed at times and can rough it up with the best of teams. But I'd much rather see a bit of pushing in the box than the true cheats diving like they've been shot and rolling around only to jump up 30 seconds later and be perfectly fine. I'm not just having a go at Luis 'biggest cheat in the EPL' Suarez by the way as he's not the only one who does it. Stoke play to their strengths, as shown they can play good football as well but I'd imagine Stokes squad cost less to assemble than just Andy Carroll so their game plan of roughing it up, and getting away with the most they can is spot on IMO. |

The pitch size changes yesterday were hilarious, you could still see the old markings! |

It seems to me that they get away with a lot more than other clubs and it seems to have become accepted for them because its the 'Stoke way'. They stick someone in front of the goalkeeper and they always actively try to block the keeper off and if it was any other team they would give a foul against them. |

I don't think they're dirty. They have tall and stocky players and they tend not to be good with the ball at their feet so hoofing up top is probably the best thing to do. PLus with the height of Jones, Crouch and Walters, your going to win a lot in the air |

This. They get a hell lot more leeway at corners and frees, offensively and defensively. You can say player x from team y does it a lot but most players at Stoke do it at every set piece. Look at Woodgate as an example of it being drilled into them, soon as he signed he's wrestling players. I get the feeling that if officials started calling them up on it Stoke would be a lot less effective at set pieces. |

The amount of time it takes Delap to take a throw-in takes the p***, any other team would be told to hurry up or risk being booked. |

The pitch needed to be bigger for the Eruopa league games. tbh they really are not doing anything wrong, football is already becoming too much of a none contact sport and Stoke only really play like this when they are against the top 6 or so teams(probably the only time a lot of you will watch more than just the highlights on them). Would you rather they did a Bolton and just got turned over every time they played a big side? |

If they get away with doing these things more, isn't it down to the officiating more than the team? Some players get away with diving so continue to do so as it benefits the team. |

I agree with some points about standing in front of the keeper during set pieces Every set piece they got against us, they had a player standing in front of Cech and blocking him off, got forking annoying |
