GOAT.
Yes becuase they had Rooney, Smith, Ole, RvN, Saha etc..... It was not for a single second becuase he was not good enough it was becuase they had enough players a few of who were pure class. Its why he went out on loan so i'd be suprised if Fergie saw him in training tbh.

I know and its also wrong. I'm not like that at all. I use other players as an example.

Drogba has shown himself to be better than RvP over time in the EPL so he is currently the best in the league. Well done Drogba. The past means nothing for a start so please forget about that. The here and now Aguero is without a doubt on van Persie's level.
silly

even when RVP is now performing at his highest level? Is that the past then. What players achieve in the not to far past is of course relevant or is a player only as good as there last or indeed next game? if its the next game no player is better than another

& indeed if its just the last game then lets hope the so called best player in the world doesnt have a bad one & carlton palmer doesnt come out of retirment and somehow be MON in a one off special appearence

His highest level came at the start of 09/10 imo. He and Fabregas were playing so well together it was unreal. When a player has just joined a league using past seasons against him means nothing. Its how he and everyone else are playing right now (When that player is of the ability of Aguero).

fair enough, i just think its not on saying a player is the best in any league when they have only been here 5 mins

In the PL yes but you do not just lose your ability because you move bloody leagues!!

Er, yeah you do. Juan Veron, Mateja Kezman and Marvin Emnes are all players who went from foreign leagues where they were amazing and promptly turned into donkeys in the Prem while Diego Forlan, Giuseppe Rossi and Gerard Pique all turned into behemoths the minute they left Blighty.

Just saying!!!!!!!!!!!
THE RIOTERS PRAYER
Our father, who art in prison, my mum knows not his name
Thy Riots come, read it in the sun
In Birmingham as it is in London
Give us this day our welfare bread & forgive us our looting,
as we're happy to loot those who defend stuff against us
Lead us not into employment but deliver us free housing,
for thine is the teles, the Burberry & the Barcardi, forever and ever...Innit !!!!

Read the first couple of pages of this thread, but unfortunately the absolute s**t being spouted by UwesGrandad forced me to stop for my own health.

Remind me what exactly Kezman has done since leaving? Rossi and Pique didn't get a chance. So thats half your list gone already. You do not just lose your ability.

I guess Emnes was a joke right? He'd only ever played 54 games before moving to the Prem.
