Messi has scored way more penalties/tap in's this season than Ronaldo, does that mean his superior goal tally doesnt show him to be superior at all?
3 penalties each this season and tap ins, guesswork? You do know I know you barely watch la Liga too. Infact you always bitch at me for watching too much of it so please do not try it GB.
Messi would've had more if he didn't bottle it against Sevilla.

Last season it was 4 penalties to 8 with Ronaldo scoring the 8.

They don't of you are claiming someone to be a superior goalscorer. One of the impressive things about Torres when he was world class is the fact he didn't take any penalties so of course it takes away from it. I see you didn't keep the rest of that part in there. I wonder why......

It's got nothing to do with Messi bottling it against Sevilla. Well done on trying to gloss over that FACT.

In the past month alone, Messi scored 5 goals 1 of which being a penalty and got 1 assist, Ronaldo scored 3 and assisted 4, by your logic Ronaldo has been the superior player of the last month in La Liga, according to your logic atleast.

"Ronaldo has scored double the ammount of penalties Messi has during his time in Spain and Messi probably has double the assists and no doubt has created more chances so they do not show him to be suprerior at all."

Ok then what does Messi having missed a pen have to do with how many they've scored? :S Nothing.

Do you see how i've seperated the assists and creating chances bit? I clearly don't think you've realised why have you? :)

becaue it is irrelevant to what i said, i said he scores more and he does, you cant compare scoring rates to different leagues

I'm sorry what did your post say? He had the better goal/game ratio? He doesn't. Its that simple. You moved the goalposts when you knew you were wrong.

I dont see any statistics called creating chances, only FACTS i see are that Ronaldo played less minutes, got 3 more assists, 2 less goals (although by your penalty judging criteria, we will count it as one), had a higher percentage of shots on target.

CR7 Superior in the last calender month. Fact.

So becuase you don't see it that means it doesn't exist? Thats nice.

Now there was a reason I seperated them so i'll give you another go at guessing why.

Wrong. The only fact is you didn't watch either of them last month.

Can someone define what a striker is & do people class all attacking players as strikers these days. if you score enough goals do you automatically become a striker?

I personally wouldnt class either messi or ronaldo as out and out strikers like say Drogba or going back a while RVN.

both are great attacking players that score shed loads of goals
