An obvious choice, I know, but I can't go beyond Martin Tyler. Fantastic level of knowledge, impartial and without any obvious annoying traits.

Easier to say who I hate. Mark Lawrenson, Trevor Francis and in the past, Ron Atkinson.
Trying to get an accurate picture of reality, even when that's unpleasant or inconvenient!

Not sure i have a favourite, cant stand Ray or Neville(its more the fact i have to look at his ugly face).

Always enjoy when Shearer is on the Bbc, hes not the best but hes a nice lad all the same

Craig Burley is the worst by a mile. Can't stand him.

Stuart Hall is the best but he's not on Sky or ESPN. Tyler is good. Ian Darke isn't bad and I don't mind Alan Smith either tbh.

Tyler.

@ Derry I've only ever heard Neville commentate once and he was shite. Good pundit though, for those who won't put bias in the way I'm sure would learn something :cheeky:

Success is winning championships. It is nothing less than that. And when you win a championship – and we will – success isn't measured or accomplished by winning once

My comment was aimed more at him being a pundit, same with Shearer, still no matter how good he is having to look at him will always be his downfall

 I would've liked that post but OAP broke it.

I think Souness is one of the best pundits to tbh. But can't look past Tyler as a commentator, although I quite often find myself not hearing them a great deal.

Yeah Martin is unrivaled.

Worst have to be the guy on Setanta, i'd rather watch Soccer saturday than a live match with them muppets

SS is funny, as a collective group they are quality and the host whose name escapes me is brilliant.

i like ray wilkins as long as he's not commentating on chelsea as he insists on calling players by their first names and every game must tell us that "peter" has a great left foot and is an excellent footballer for a goalkeeper

on ITV i like jim beglin

There isn't a good one between them. Rob Hawthorne probably the least shite

Like Tydlsley on ITV just cause his voice reminds me of 1999.

Craig Burley is by far the worst. I can't stand Jon Champion aswell.
Gary Neville is a good pundit. Great knowledge of the game and decent sense of humour.
Martin Tyler and Tyldesley are great purely for the way they anticipate great moments.
