which player have you seen come through your club with bags of potential only to let it go to waste ?

when Chris Martin first came through even fergie was looking at him with a rumored £5 mil bid coming in but with a bit of a dodgy attitude and a refusal to stop boozing and fighting he hasn't come along as far as i had hoped he has just gone on loan to palace to get some games in which is a pity because he has a decent strike on him and hits a good free-kick but his work rate isn't what it should be.

Suppose you could class Lee Sharpe in this. Sold by Fergie at only 25, with the right attitude he could've been one of the best.

Has he been injured though, or "injured"?

Lupoli and Quincy are two who have really fallen away after looking very promising. Bendtner and Vela will probably have decent careers, but not at the level I expected of them when I first saw them.

Ryan Babel. I'll never forget that screamer he scored against Lyon, thought he was going to rescue us. We got a free kick and he stood over it, then proceded to have a shot that went out for a throw in ffs

I miss him :(

A loan spell at Norwich, a good 18 months at Blackburn then three years in Spurs reserves isn't what his talent deserved.
