Bergkamp/Hiddink or Guardiola (Doubt we'd get the last one!)

Is Bergkamp even in managment? Or coaching etc?

Hiddink wont manage again i think because of his age but Guardiola is a bit of a maverick...you never know with him. He seem a little bothered by everyone thinking 'anyone' could win La Liga with Barca. He could choose to test himself elsewhere maybe?
Will be keeping Cech in my pocket for the next 3 months. Thanks Pedro :thumb:

again it was not £15m up front, £12-£15m total which includes a lot of add ons but anyway ox is an example of the type of money wenger spends on a regular basis. we have seen the likes of vermaelen, koscielny, mertesacker, nasri, arshavin, oxlade, arteta all come in for over £10m.
Kos was not £10m or over.
reportedly £11m. Cant be confirmed just like every other arsenal transfer but its there or there abouts please try contribute something uselful to the thread
Reportedly £8.7 in most places. I'll contribute what I want.

I didn't know that. Maybe he would be the ideal choice then :thumb:

Who would you Gooners want to replace him?

And before you say Mourinho (Goonie  ), i mean realistically ;)
Mourinho commited his future the other day. It says it all when they're looking for a manager to commit instead of looking for a reason to sack him :p

I've already planned it anyway Uwes. AVB is getting sacked by Chelsea and joining us and we're going to win the league.

I'd take Ancelotti, nowhere near as bad as people make him out to be.

I've not seen a single Chelsea fan that has made him out to be bad other than Uno.

I'm not convinced by him Goonie, and you already have a better manager.

Personally i think his move to a bigger league was 4 or 5 years too early and could potentially ruin his profile in the short/medium term.
Defensively naive and doesn't seem to know how to get the best of his players. If Chelsea hadn't paid 13m for his services he would be sweating a fair bit more than he is curently imo.

Early days though tbf.

I think Wenger is top class but as it stands i'd say AVB is the better manager. I really think he is the real deal.

Not sure you can say how AVB is a better manager than Wenger especially based on how chelsea are playing at the moment! i think he definitely will be one of the best in the game but right now he isnt too convincing! one thing is for sure that both avb and wenger should get some lessons on how to coach defending!
