It really wouldnt be hard to get an improvement tbf. Obviously the likes of Cavani and Higuain would be touted but im not sure if we can get tha type of player without cl football

CL football is only going to be harder to come by as well by the looks of things.

Tbf to the lump his last couple of games were his best for us by far. He was wroking harder and not making so many basic errors. 5 mins vs Chelsea whilst hanging onto a 1 goal lead is hardly the kind of opporunity he will thrive on

I'd liken him to Lucas when he first came in. He was tosh to start with but there was always something about his game and personality that made me keep believing he'd come good. Carroll is similar to that for me tbh. Everything as a striker just gets amplified though. As soon as you're not scoring goals you're seen as useless.

Is he seen as a plan B like to lump forward to? Do Liverpool just do that when he is on (I don't just mean lump ball Carragher btw).

He is seen as a different option to the other strikers we have. The problem is though how can we lump it up to him ? he basically plays as a dm when he is on the field

I agree with paPa to a degree because he scored against everton and I don't think he started the nx 2 games

The jurys out on Adam and Hendo too but they have both given glimpses of their capabilities but I struggle to think of much Andys mustered
