NI is a little english village as should be treated as such. They should be happy we LET them use G.S.T.Q!!!

But IF the national anthem is changed where will it stop? Will the flag be next? Independence???

England v NI

Played 63, Won 46, drawn 12, Lost 5, GF 169, GA 56 B)

Anyway apologies cos the first part of my first post was just a bit of fun but the last bit was a serious question.

If the Anthem changes, Will the flag be next? Its just a version of Englands too so could be next on the agenda. And if NI changes to gain more of an identity will/could independence be next?
Can it finiancially sustain itself?

Ps, i didn't know you were a paddy too btw <_< :)
Will be keeping Cech in my pocket for the next 3 months. Thanks Pedro :thumb:

NI has its own flag already. And independence will never been achieved until there is a clear nationalist majority, and even then violence would break out again. The politicians are spastically, but I don't think they're that stupid.

Change the Anthem & cut the ties if thats what they want. They can stop taking from our public purse as well & get on with it themselves if thats what the majority over there want. Their loss.

There is a point there though. NI needs the Uk a hell of a lot more than the other way round. Omething like 30% of the workforce is in the public sector and the UK central government subsidises NI by around 500billion, which is 20% of the entire economy. The country is highly dependant on England and the UK as a whole just as Wales and Scotland are.

Laugh all you like, if you didnt have the rest of the UK's backing you would be a fukked, insignificant, little, unimportant country. The UK should stand together :)

The same could be said for Wales & Scotland as well. England & the south on the whole provide & the Sth has great help from the other area's in creating a Great Britain. If you want that fukked & England being on its on, it will be your loss.
