My missus nephew works in D&G in bond street

Quite often footballers and celebs come in and spend a fortune

Apparently Joe hart came in a couple weeks ago and spent 10 grand

But here's the one that got me, Emmanuel Frimpong came in the other week spent 25,000 walks out into his White lamborgini and drives off

He's barely in the first team ffs

this is my gripe with youth players getting first team opportunities then spending money like its water. its insane but we "fans" put millions of money into the game so this is what will happen. Football is a commodity and footballers and those involved benefit.
Rivaldo greatest player in my time

Yep that's ridiculous. I hear Cleverley was buying a new house in the summer and he set his limit at £4million

It's a joke. Dean Bouzanis was released by us last season. Bet 90% of this forum have never heard of him. He was on £10k a week ffs.

If a club is going to generate hundreds of millions in profits why shouldnt these players be paid that when its them that generate most of the money, cant stand people who think they have the right to say how much other people should be paid

I've voiced that opinion before, but these are young lads who are no where near the first team (In Bouzanis' case). It's different imo.

i still think yts lads should be exactly that and go back to cleaning boots and stuff and once you've earned the right to get paid thousands of pounds a week you can spend it on what you like

but the truth is competition is so bad to sign good players they have to give them great deals early these days

dont begrudge top players top money, its mediocre players on top money that annoys me. Possibly the only professional sport where you dont have to produce and deliver performances and still get rewarded
