Ah bollox.

Such a disappointment. If only we had a finisher in the class of RvP :(

All those games where we've dominated and lost. All those games where we've outplayed the other team creating chance after chance and seen the other team smash and grab, and we've just done it to someone else and it feels goooooooooooooooooood :D

Lucky win for Arsenal. That's 4th place over for us now, I would say.

We'll be lucky to finish in the top 7 now. Norwich and Sunderland will probably overtake us by the end of the season

Kenny had a nightmare today. Fair play to Arsenal they were clinical. Should've buried them in the first half.

Sometimes you've got to say well played to the Keeper. And tbf Chesney made some good saves. But there can be no accounting for 2 of those misses. The penalty rebound and the Kelly miss. I'm sorry but missing those was completely criminal and nobody but the players themselves can be blamed for that.

I blame all you negative people at the start of the thread <_< your negativity went through the players in the 18 yard box!!!

We were unlucky that Liverpool were so poor upfront - again. They had so many chances - although the post probably performed better than Szczesny.

But Arsenal were poor going forward today, we were nowhere near as slick as we were last week. The ONE Arsenal player Liverpool had to watch they totally forgot about - twice. You can't do that s**t, especially if you're being wasteful upfront.

I always say, if you win fairly, you deserve it. But damn, Arsenal couldn't have complained at a draw - or worse.

The good:
The defence. They had a lot to deal with today and often had to get in an important foot. In addition, the defensive players contributed well to our attempts at going forward.
Szczesny. Double save. From a penalty. Amongst others.
RvP. Won't add to that.
Liverpool's pressure play. Pretty brilliant, to be honest.

The bad:
The defence. Sorry but Liverpool had waaay too many chances, too many shots and too many gaps to run happily into.
Walcott. He tried, but...
Liverpool's shooting. 4 shots on target out of 14, apparently.

The ugly:
Spearing. Eurgh, was he some sort of conception experiment??

Players deserve a share of the criticism but there's no way you can shift all the blame away from the management based on the missed chances. When you see Adam give the ball and fouls away time and time again you have to recognise the need for a change. We lost control of the second half and needed fresh legs in the midfield.
