Can see what Pads is saying. During the game, I kept hearing about how maybe justice was done when the penalty was saved. Then it was 'the ref couldn't have seen that well enough to give it.' Either way, they didn't want to admit it was a penalty and even when they got out their close up thingy, it was quite reluctantly accepted that there was contact.

Having said that, Suarez is a little bitch. He's a hateful little rat, churning out a ridiculous grimace and theatrical fall to the ground with arms outstretched for help at even the slightest touch. It's no wonder no one wants to give him credit or the benefit of the doubt. He's not doing anything different to what other players do but it's all the freaking time.
Balance

What I saw of the penalty was that contact was made, but Suarez was not going to touch the ball before it went off the pitch, so id have said he was not in control of the ball.

In comparison to the initial direction the ball was also going away from the goal, which is why no card was given.

How predictable are we. Extreme amount of bottling in the final third today. Ball-less bastards.

He always seems terrified to make a change unless we are either losing or not creating anything at all.

All his subs tend to be reactive instead of proactive

As we were the better side for pretty much the entire game he obviously didn't see a "reason" to change it. Fork the reasons Kenny, make a change to freshen things up and try to get another goal!

I was so so surprised by that. I was sat there dreading Bellamy coming on because Arsenal were struggling with the players Liverpool had on the pitch - and they don't have his quality.

Leaving Anfield. Absolutely no truth in rumours of bust up in #LFC dressing room after today's defeat to #Arsenal.
