"We more than matched them.............."

Really?

Sounds like we only turned up for the last 15 minutes.
Wow, what match was he watching?
That sort of analysis from him really worries me. If he's not seeing the problems how is he ever going to be expected to address them?

I really hope it's a case of saying one thing in public and another in private but, imo, it's seeming more and more likely he believes what he says in pressers. If it's a a case of him saying one then the other, I seriously think he needs to get rid of the kid gloves. This group of players need a lambasting. It will go someway to fixxing things at least.

Another twitter gem

Point being we're light years ahead of last year. Unfortunately, we'll get the odd performance like this.

just watched the highlights. has to be said it wasnt much of a spectacle and it was another kinda weird goal like the beach ball incident to lose there.
but liverpool fans get frustrated by results like that most seasons, you must be tearing your hair out but it is tough to go to Sunderland having said that

Success is winning championships. It is nothing less than that. And when you win a championship – and we will – success isn't measured or accomplished by winning once

well if 4th was slightly in the equation before this game, then it's deffo out now lol :D

Yep it's hard to go to Sunderland and get anything, but well... it was dire.

I don't like slagging a manager and calling for his head, but i think this summer FSG have a big decision to make. I don't want us to be a club that just sacks off a manager after 1 or 2 bad results per month of a season, but at the same time we have to be ruthless on the pitch, and at the moment we are toothless.

If we are creating 20 - 30 chances and not converting them is it really the manager's fault? don't think it can be. the personal responsible for being at the end of them is the manager's fault, we should have bought in a natural goal scorer, but we also should realise that our main fault is not having bodies in the box, having 1 player in the box covered by 3 or more players and expecting to pick him out and make something happen is not the way to go about things.

I also feel we are becoming really predictable as well in our subs, Andy Carrol is now a plan B option, and throwing him on with 20 mins to go looking for a goal, well every man, woman and dog knows what way we will start playing... and that aint us. Just being direct doesn't get you anywhere at all. Using it once or twice as part of a counter attack, yes works really well, under Rafa we scored reguarly from this, a Reina punt or throw, and a player lashing on to the end of it (think Albert Riera's goal v Aston Villa that season when we demolished them 5 - 0 at Anfield) or any corner we conceded, had everyone back (which was another stick that they used to bash Rafa with), win the ball, Reina throws it long, and a player is running on to it and puts it away.

Yeah we are becoming predictable now, and that along with a lack of confidence it doesn't bold well.

I hate to say it, but i think in the summer, Kenny might need to go :( but we will need a massive personnel change as well.

If Kenny doesnt have the decency to walk then there will be trouble at Anfield. A divided crowd & the owners will get pelters from the Kop (who know everything about football btw)

I've watched a fair bit of Liverpool & on the whole its getting worse week in week out, you play some pretty football from time to time & if you had taken a few more chances then things might be different. That said performances like that one just gone are really aweful, especially with all the money spent. Your closer to the top than the bottom, you are no better off now than you where under Woy & he didnt have any backing or money to spend, he also took over a club in turmoil. Tell you what, it will be ultimate pay back if things carry on, Everton and several others including Woys WBA finish above you. Worrying times for a once great club
