Success is winning championships. It is nothing less than that. And when you win a championship – and we will – success isn't measured or accomplished by winning once

Probably the right result but thought Newcastle deserved a draw for their efforts.

Think RVP was just on one tonight. No-one likes time wasting but you cant moan about it when the ball is in play just because you cant be arsed to close the ball down. Krul was well within his rights to slow the game down during Arsenals large periods of possession. RVP showed himself up to be a bit of a goblin tbh.

Harry's face twitch must be going like a jackhammer tonight
Will be keeping Cech in my pocket for the next 3 months. Thanks Pedro :thumb:

I didn't see it :p Saw him being an utter bell end at the end of the match though. He's hid it well this season tbf to him but his true colours have started to show in recent weeks. At least he's true to form when it comes to being Arsenal captain

He wasn't the only one being an utter bell end tbh and none of us know exactly what was said or what happened, but I'm disappointed in him more than Krul because Krul had a right to be feeling a little sour. RvP should have just ignored his sorry ass and got on with it. Speshly as captain. He has to learn when to shake it off.

They love each other really. Krul is probably giving each RvP a soap down and whispering Dutch words of love in his ear.

I miss dutchie :(

Gotta love the RVP haters on here. All he did was gesture to Krul to time waste now and the floppy haired twat kicked off. forking twat deserved it, time wasting after 10 mins, pathetic. Newcastle were terrible and were fortunate that the arsenal finishing was off

There are no RVP "haters" on here  It's been a circle jerk over him for the last twelve months ffs. But tonight he acted like a nobhead and is rightly being called on it.

 You're a hater, Saggy :p

Nah for real though, if all RvP did was wind up Krul about his time wasting, there was a definite over-reaction here last night. It's disappointing and I'd rather van Persie kept quiet, but if Krul is going to waste time during the game and then cry when someone says something to him bout it, he's pathetic too. And gdude probably said you lot are hating because no one was as outraged by Krul racing out of goal and up the pitch to start a fight, and no one mentioned the other Newcastle players trying to start one for only God knows what but people are quick to come on here and get on their high horses about van Persie. Bit of balance wouldn't hurt.

You sound like a Liverpool fan over Suarez here Stacie. In the last few weeks RVP has been acting as if no one is allowed to touch him and that he can do what he wants, from giving the winkers to Kelly to last night. You call Krul and Newcastle players out for "trying to start a fight" but when Krul goes to confront van Persie he's automatically outnumbered by about 5 to 1  You see Guttierez trying to get Van Persie out of the way and RVP slaps his hand out of the way and gives him the evils as if "who do you think you are touching me - I'm Robin van Persie." Then when he has a barrier of 2 or 3 players he starts waving his arms 'gesturing to the crowd'. RVP's had it easy for the last year or so with everyone winking over him, people seem to have forgot that he is a complete goblin. So yea, bit of balance wouldn't hurt.
