10 minutes of CPR will mean a miracle if he survives. 23 years old, shirt and badge doesn't matter in these situations. Cannot see him pulling through it though :(
Golden 10 minutes tbf, or thats what they call it. BUT to be honest you've two minutes, you need to be doing compression straight away to have any chance, and get the A.E.D on as soon as possible.
Reports he is stable in hospital.
Fair play too the Paramedics on duty there today
27 minutes before you flatline mate.
You're wrong. Once you go into cardiac arrest you're dead.
He was dead on the pitch and the paramedics brought him back. You've 10 minutes to apply CPR before the oxygen in the body goes and the brain starts to die but even after 2 minutes the chances of a successful CPR rate is slimming.
Early CPR>Early Adavance Life Support(A.E.D)>Early Hospital.

Anyways not the time or place to discuss that. He's alive and thats great news

A stable condition could mean anything really which is why I think BBC are waiting before saying anything, e.g coma/vegetative state. Anything over 5 mins w/out oxygen generally means some form of brain damage iirc. Important thing is he's alive.

That's the thing mate, after that long him being alive is surprising. Hopefully it's in a state 'worth living' for want of better words. That long with the brain being starved isn't good. Hope he has a speedy recovery and massive props to all involved. The emergency services as a whole are in a dire straight but they're miracle workers really.

Can I ask no being a goblin but was it the NHS or St.John Ambulance or both?
I know SJA are big in UK and do pitch crews

I think it's usually SJA first on and then the NHS Para's come on if something is really serious. Sometimes at games the SJA are just there more for crowd problems than on-pitch stuff though. Haven't actually seen the incident so can't say on this one.

Too right. All involved deserve massive praise if he pulls through

I think Webb was the perfect ref for that situation too being an ex-copper.
