YEEEEEEEAH! we're gonna..... dominate for 65 mins with beautiful 1 touch football and have 20 corners in the first 5 mins and not convert any of them, sub off Suarez on 66th minute and be under the cosh for the remaining game, on 5th minute of added on time we concede lose 1 - 0...

glass half full here!!! :D

Nah well what can we do.

It'll be good to play the likes of Coates, Shelvey, Maxi, Flanno/Kelly, RObinson/Aurelio and get some game time from them.

Also we need to pick a formation/style of play in time for the FA Cup semi final as well as that game is now our main game for this season... we lose that we might as well not bother now.

Grrrrrr!

Success is winning championships. It is nothing less than that. And when you win a championship – and we will – success isn't measured or accomplished by winning once

For the love of god kenny please play Suarez and Carroll up top together. Anyway I really couldnt care less how we do here. It would be nice to see Jonjo, Coates,Flanagan and Sterling to get some gametime

I'm positive

We have a good record there, gerrard always seems to play well against newc

I can see Suarez doing damage here

We have a point to prove and I expect a reaction 4-1 to us

We didn't get a reaction against Wigan at home following that debacle at QPR. We ain't getting a reaction here. Season is over and the players know it.

You can argue his signings and tactics havnt worked this season but this man loves this club and if he feels certain players arn't pulling rank he will let them know

Honestly if he can't get our lads up for this I will be worried

I'm keeping the faith we will win this

So we are led to believe and supposedly happened after the Bolton game but equally lacklustre performances hav been allowed to happen a couple more times since then.

I'm expecting a s**t performance. Our season rides on the FA Cup alone as Europa League is already guaranteed.
Wouldn't be surprised if we rested players

The Irony, Andy Carroll has promised not to celebrate if he scores against Newcastle...business as usual then

Bet the half of the Newcastle side his transfer fee bought do celebrate if they win.
Will be keeping Cech in my pocket for the next 3 months. Thanks Pedro :thumb:

Andy Carroll insists he will not celebrate if he scores for Liverpool against his former club Newcastle on his first return to St James' Park on Sunday.

Trying to get an accurate picture of reality, even when that's unpleasant or inconvenient!
