It's those little bits of analysis from Nev there - about being so tired at that stage the game that your legs are burning and you cant make the tackle which you would have made in the first hour - that make him such an outstanding pundit.

He always tells me something no one else would.

That tackle by Ferdinand was forking brilliant, and summed his performances up this season. His best year for us since 08 and without a doubt one of the best defenders of a generation.

Absolutely buzzing B)

El on a grassy knoll with a rifle.

Actually Blackburn were at home. No chance of El being there.

all that pushing and pushing paid off in the end, rovers defence was solid for large parts of the game and it was just frustrating we couldnt break through. cracked it in the end though.

dunno where rooney was for the last third of that game though, dissappeared and then never came back. solid performance from rafael, antonio and DDG as well.

aww look how cute he is... fitty fitty
To be honest Mercs for the first half all we did was try and cross balls into the box that were easily dealt with by Hanlen and Dann, or we tried to walk the ball in through a crowded box. Chico was wasted up front as a result. It was only when we came out in the 2nd half and started taking shots on goal and testing Robinson that we finally looked dangerous. In the end it was that which resulted in both our goals.

Unlucky Blackburn, but my only criticism of Steve Kean is that he made no substitutions. It was clear the blackburn players were getting tired and that's what gave us the edge in that last 10 minutes. Really don't understand what Kean was thinking there tbh.

Got the 0-2 bit right at least. Thought it was almost a nervous team selection/formation from Fergie - Although what do I knowm he got the job done. Always felt the goal was coming second half and the Man Utd got to just over evens on Betfair before the goal went in.

bar the first 15 minutes which i missed i noticed that too. i was surprised actually, not used to seeing us trying to walk the ball into the net. the worrying thing was that although we dominated possession for the majority of the game, rovers looked dangerous every time they had the ball so i was just waiting for them to score.

i thought we started looking dangerous final third i'd say. possibly when giggs came on, that was when we started pressing them. maybe rovers were just defending and hoping for a draw but they did try to score on the counter.
