WTF kind of interview was that? Massive "get out of jail free" card handed to him by the journo there. And they say there's anti-pool bias by the media ![]() Fair play to Dalglish, he's actually made them afraid to ask him any tough questions

That's all he needs to ask. Headline writes itself. "Under pressure Reds boss blames referee again". |

There'll be criticism in the printed press. Whether it's aimed at Dalglish is another thing. But as a post match interview, that was forking cringeworthy by the interviewer. He was up Dalglsh's arse there, feeding him his excuses. |

How many times can you blame external circumstances before you see that it's an internal problem? We shouldn't be relying on a referee to beat that Villa side at all. |

your right Dotty. I mean there's nothing wrong with a comment or two about the ref's performance, but if you are constantly blaming the ref for a teams own downfall then yes it does look like your deflecting the blame from your own team. However i also think that he will be in the dressing room telling them something different to what he is coming out to the press with, which again is what we all want. I don't want to hear about bust ups in the dressing room or a headline saying Kenny loses his rag at player in Daily Mirror exclusive. If he bullocks them in private, brilliant, that's how it should be. I've kept saying i'd hope that they are addressing the problem that is developing at the moment, but i've been saying that for the month and a bit now. The team started out like it had lost a lot of confidence, but after the final whistle, i think that the result would have lifted them a little. Yes it was a draw, and their goal they scored was poorly conceded by us, with the main failure being closing down the crosser and closing down the goal scorer effectively enough, and that was their only chance. We had a lot of attempts, albeit not many on target, and again another factor that points to a low level of confidence from the team. However we now have to build on this game and build up the squad's performance, but we can't be having this cycle every 6 games or whatever, it has to start now and has to build for a much longer period of time otherwise we'll just be a team in "transistion" forever. |
