We'll never know, but actually, all our goals were scored on the break, so it's not as if we were playing gung ho after having a dubious goal given.
Yeah your goals were scored on the break, because we were committing more men because we were chasing the goal, which makes my point stand even more.
No, because you were only 2-0 down for a few minutes. Had you been chasing it for 30-40 mins, I might agree.

Listen, we'll never know, but the 3rd, 4th an 5th goals do make the 2nd slightly less relevant.
2-0 down for a few minutes maybe, but even at 2-1 we were still chasing the game regardless.

And no, it doesn't make it less relevant at all.

Ok, but you were chasing it at 1-0 down too and that was perfectly legitimate?

Seeing as we were due to play Chelsea on the 5th anyway should we just make it count for the league too, saves clogging up the fixture list :D

2-1 was worse because the players knew they had been cheated on by a s**t ref. Heads were dropped, simple.

Redknapp forked that up by bringing on Defoe imo.

ya strange move that, completely opened up the midfield. Mata had all day to pick out Raimeres

Still wont complain when he does it for England

Just shows how poor a tactician he is really. If anything he should've brought on Sandro for VdV to mark him out, so much was going through him.

Just lacks patience I think. 15mins is a lot of time & I still felt that Spurs would of got another chance. A 3rd was always going to kill the game

This.

Could of then gone 4-3-3 with Bale Lennon and Ade up front

Nope, can't accept that either.

If their heads dropped at just 2-1 down in a Wembley semi final, they deserved to lose and will probably carry on losing the ones that count.

Being winners at the top level in all sports is as much about what's going on in your head as it is about skill, capability and yes, even luck.

Well if you've just been cheated on then you're obviously not going to be in the same state of mind and thoughts of if you hadn't?

I agree that they will have felt hard done by and who can blame them. But it's how you deal with that disappointment that is the difference between success and failure.

It's harsh, but it's filthy world out there.

Going 1-0 down is bad enough, but you can show some resolve, but when you go 2-0 down to what is a very poor decision, you tend to think it's not your day.

I don't know who the ref gave that decision, how could he be 100%? At the same time Spurs were inferior in every department and Chelsea absolutely deserved the win.
