Heard he's here until the end of the season.

Success is winning championships. It is nothing less than that. And when you win a championship – and we will – success isn't measured or accomplished by winning once

It's a fault he has had in his technique for a couple of years now - since Achterberg became coach basically (might just be a coincidence though  ).

I swear he is the easiest keeper in the league to score against at the near post. He always shifts his weight to go to the far post and any striker with a pair of eyes and some skill can see that and a hard shot near post beats him every time. Just have a look at the goals conceded from open play this season - I bet a high proportion of them will have been hit at the near post with him moving the other way.

If I was GK I'd want them to go near post. Less space to aim at and easier to get down to. From his body position, he encourages the near post shot cos he has covered a lot of the angle off for the far post shot. Quite remarkable why he anticipated he would go across goal

There's "showing" them the near post and there's "giving" them the near post. Reina gives it to them :(

Thought he pulled off a great save in the first half. Most of his good saves have come from snap shots I think <_< bloody fattyberg!!!

I think a couple of years with goal keeping coaches that are no way near the class of Xabi Valero has not helped.

Mike Kelly to start with, some old age pensioner of a coach who goes round with Woy... enough said really.

John Achterberg from what i've heard he doesn't really teach/coach him maybe he's in awe of Pepe, either way it has been detremental to him. I think what also is apparent is his failure to understand the strikers he's up against, which again is something that Valero did a lot of work on as part of his duties as a coach.

The goal.. well it was disappointing.
